Book recommendation: Silicon Dragon

Silicon Dragon definitely gives you the raw and recent on-the-ground views regarding China's technology boom. China does have a growing number of problems, such as the lack of sophistication in the financial markets to support the insatiable appetite for investments, massive environmental constraints and urgent freshwater shortage concerns, aging populations(after 30 years) that endanger future growth, and many more.

The author takes us inside 11 different Chinese high-tech firms and introduces us to the entrepreneurs in all their brilliance - and bumbling. There's at least as much bumbling as brilliance amongst the entrepreneurs we meet.

I'm sure there are yet still many more investment opportunities involving China and I am sure the fore mentioned works in the book would help you pick up many good tips.

Many people are not aware that buying a book via online is cheaper (even after delivery charges) compared to buying the same book in a local bookshop. The cost savings can be as much as 20%.
